Founded in 2020

Our first focus at Big Run Farms was establishing our apiary, with our first raw wildflower honey produced in 2022. Honey production is ramping up in 2025 as we are adding additional hives into the apiary. We have two types of bees, italian and carniolan.

In 2024 we purchased a greenhouse and began producing flowers for arrangements. This will be expanding in 2025 to offer more varieties, including dahlias, zinnias, cosmos, peony, hydrangea, lilac, and larkspur.

Elderberries are our latest endeavor with our first crop of berries expected in summer 2026.
